Our pipeline

Building the evidence to expand possibilities.

We are initially focused on MSS colorectal cancer and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, two tumor types with significant unmet need. Our goal is to generate the preclinical evidence needed to evaluate the platform and inform future development decisions.

Two indications, studied in parallel.

Two independent research tracks in immune-cold cancers with significant unmet need. Here is why each one matters.

Indication 01 · Track A

MSS colorectal cancer

A large patient population with limited treatment options in the metastatic setting. Microsatellite-stable disease is typically immune-cold, so today’s checkpoint inhibitors rarely work.

158,850new US colorectal cancer cases expected in 2026
55,230US deaths expected in 2026
~95%of metastatic cases are microsatellite stable

Checkpoint blockade works only when tumors are visible

Objective response to PD-1 blockade in colorectal cancer, by tumor type

MSS tumors are about 95% of metastatic cases, and the group LurexBio is designed to reach.

Indication 02 · Track B

Pancreatic cancer (PDAC)

An aggressive disease with high unmet need and poor outcomes, and one of the most immune-cold tumor types.

67,530new US pancreatic cancer cases expected in 2026
52,740US deaths expected in 2026, the third-leading cause of cancer death

Across both tracks

Two research questions, tested in parallel.

QUESTION 01 · INSTALLATION

Can the recognition signal be installed at the tumor cell surface?

We are testing whether the Atraxis™ delivery platform can reliably present NeoTag™ signals across both tracks.

QUESTION 02 · RECOGNITION

Does the immune system detect and respond to it?

We are testing whether immune cells engage once a signal is installed at the tumor site.

Disease figures are drawn from the published sources linked above. They describe the disease landscape and are not LurexBio results.

From discovery to potential impact.

Our progress to date, and the path ahead. Completed milestones are dated. Future stages follow a sequence, not a schedule: each begins only upon the success of the previous one.

  1. 2025Founded

    LurexBio is founded

Founded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, building on founder James Clark’s years of research into why the immune system fails to recognize certain solid tumors.

  6. NowCurrent stage

    Preclinical research: install and recognize

Two research questions tested in parallel across MSS CRC and PDAC: can the signal be installed at the tumor surface, and does the immune system respond to it?

  7. Next stageTranslational validation

    Expand and confirm

Expanding signals and models across both indications to strengthen the evidence base.

  8. Future objectiveIND-enabling development

    Prepare for the clinic
