LurexBio is an early-stage biotechnology company advancing a non-genetic, non-viral recognition engineering platform to address an important component of tumor immune evasion in immune-cold cancers.
At LurexBio, our mission is to advance programmable immuno-oncology by engineering immune recognition with precision. By uniting disciplined platform design with translational rigor, we aim to bridge the gap between breakthrough science and meaningful patient outcomes, and we ground all of our work in a culture of integrity and transparency.

LurexBio was founded at the intersection of personal urgency and disciplined inquiry. During treatment for advanced cancer, founder James Clark undertook an intensive, multi-year study of immunology and emerging therapeutic technologies, seeking to understand why the immune system fails to recognize many solid tumors.
That investigation led to a core insight: in many cancers, the limitation is not the strength of the immune response, but the absence of effective recognition. From that idea grew a structured platform architecture and the foundation of our approach.
