Lurex Bio Announces Patent Filings and a New Frontier in Immune Engineering
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. — Lurex Bio, Inc. has filed multiple U.S. provisional patent applications protecting its proprietary immune-signal and vesicle-based targeting systems. The company describes the filings as its first step toward international protection under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).
Helping the immune system see what it misses
The filings cover the platforms behind Lurex Bio’s approach to next-generation immunotherapy, NeoTag™, Atraxis™ and Atraxis-X, which address immune-signal delivery, synthetic membrane fusion and tumor recognition. The goal is to help the body’s own immune system detect tumors that currently evade it.
“Our mission is to transform how the immune system interacts with disease.”

A broader research program
Beyond oncology, the company outlined an integrated research program that also explores autoimmune disease and regenerative medicine. Lurex Bio plans strategic collaborations with research institutions and development partners in the United States and abroad, including planned research collaborations in Boston.
